1 Year Manufacturer Defect Warranty
LIMITED GUARANTEE
Subject to the conditions and limitations stated in this document, PROFLEX® warrants to the original owner that the PROFLEX® Products (listed in the table below), when used in a complete System with approved flooring and over approved substrates, (as listed on PROFLEX® Product Data Sheets), under normal use, effective from the date of installation for the period of time owned by the original owner, up to one year: PROFLEX® will pay for replacement of the portion of the installation that involves the defective product. This payment will include finish materials, labor and installation; provided the cost per square foot to PROFLEX® does not exceed the original cost of installation per square foot.
Exclusions and Exceptions
PROFLEX® is not responsible for any of the following: structural failure or workmanship not performed in accordance with PROFLEX® or other manufacturers’ instructions and/or the applicable industry standards; normal wear and tear resulting from usage; losses due to delays or any other consequential damages; installations with improper substrate preparation; damage due to flooding, hydrostatic pressure, puddling, improper maintenance, sewer backup, acts of God, excessive or low relative humidity or any issues not related to excessive moisture proven to be coming through the moisture vapor barrier; wood floors not installed in accordance with the wood flooring manufacturer’s recommendations including, but not limited to, temperature, relative humidity, and proper maintenance; wood floors not installed in accordance with the wood flooring manufacturer’s most recent published literature pertaining to glue down installations, including but not limited to, wood flooring acclimation, expansion space, jobsite temperature, relative humidity and airflow requirements. PROFLEX® will repair or replace the affected floor area one time only. This Limited Warranty is to the original owner only and is nontransferable. All warranties not to exceed Finished Flooring Manufacturers wear warranty.
Should a claim be made against this PROFLEX® warranty, PROFLEX® must be informed in writing by the claimant within thirty (30) days of the occurrence of the alleged manufacturing defect. An authorized PROFLEX® representative must be able to inspect the alleged manufacturing defect BEFORE DEMOLITION OF THE AFFECTED AREA BEGINS. Claims submitted after demolition will not be valid. This limited guarantee is given in lieu of all other express warranties. Any implied warranties arising by operation of law are limited to the one (1) year replacement guarantee period. This guarantee is not transferable.

PROFLEX® Platinum 25 YEAR Limited Warranty
PROFLEX® Sports Flooring

LIMITED GUARANTEE
All PROFLEX® rubber flooring is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects on both material and workmanship. If such a defect is discovered, the customer must notify PROFLEX® through the contracting installer, distributor, or directly. If found to be defective within (10) years under normal non-abusive conditions, the sole remedy against the seller will be the replacement or repair of the defective goods, or at the seller’s option, credit may be issued not exceeding the selling price of the defective goods. PROFLEX® Sports Flooring Warranty shall not cover dissatisfaction due to improper installation, damage from improper maintenance or usage, or general misuse, including and without limitation: burns, cuts, tears, scratches, scuffs, damage from rolling loads, damage from cleaning products not recommended by PROFLEX®, slight shade variations or shade variations due to exposure to direct sunlight, or differences in color between samples or photographs and actual flooring. Excluded from Warranty – This warranty does not apply to the following:
- The exact matching of shade, color, or mottling.
- Any express or implied promise made by any salesperson or representative.
- Tears, burns, cuts, or damage due to improper installation, improper use or improper cleaning agents or maintenance methods.
- Wear from chairs or other furniture without proper floor protectors will void the warranty. Care should be taken to protect the flooring from damage by using excellent quality protective feet for chairs, tables, and other furniture. Chair mats are required under chairs with casters/wheels.
- Labor costs for installation of original or replacement material.
- Sale of “Remnants”, “Seconds”, “Off Goods” or other irregular (non-first quality) flooring materials. With respect to “Seconds”, “Off Goods”, or “Remnants” such are sold “as is,” and PROFLEX® makes no warranties whatsoever, express or implied with respect thereto, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Problems caused by moisture, hydrostatic pressure, or alkali in the sub-floor.
- Problems caused by uses, maintenance, and installation that are contrary to PROFLEX® specifications, recommendations, or instructions.
- Defective material that has been installed
- Damage or discoloration to flooring products from rubber mats, rubber backed mats, or car tires.
- Installation of PROFLEX® products with adhesives other than those recommended by PROFLEX®.
- Fading and/or discoloration resulting from heavy sunlight penetration and ultraviolet ray exposure from direct or glass-filtered sunlight.
- Material that is not installed, but not maintained as recommended by PROFLEX®
- Damage to flooring products from pallet jack and tow-motor traffic
- Environments where the product will be exposed to animal fats, vegetable oils, grease, or petroleum-based materials (i.e.: commercial kitchens or auto repair facilities.)
- Premature wear and deterioration from athletic spiked footwear, skate blade exposure, high heels, or spiked heels
- Differences in color between products and photography
- Embossing/density deviations between product and samples, photography
Should a claim be made against this PROFLEX® warranty, PROFLEX® must be informed in writing by the claimant within thirty (30) days of the occurrence of the alleged manufacturing defect. An authorized PROFLEX® representative must be able to inspect the alleged manufacturing defect PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. Any claims pertaining to color variations must be made prior to installation of the flooring. Claims submitted after installation will not be valid.
This guarantee is not transferable.
This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty expressed or implied. PROFLEX® shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages which may result from a defect. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have rights which may vary from state to state.
